Civil Inspector
Overview
The Civil Inspector will work under the direct supervision of the Resident Engineer and Project Managers and indirect supervision of the Program Manager in PMC Mongolia. (Option 2)

Specific Skills
- Ability to interpret complex Client specifications and develop proposals;
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, client, vendors, and contractors with adequate technical knowledge with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English necessary to complete the job;
- Experience with AutoCAD and related Engineering design software;
- Experienced in international standards and specifications related to civil/structural finishes;
- Must be able to read and interpret construction documents, submittals and other documents;
- Must be able to prepare reports and meeting minutes and update construction documents;
- Must be able to prepare a quality estimate of the civil works;
- Must be able to sample and collect data for quality control;
- Familiarity with the local legislation and regulations regarding construction activities;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skill levels in Microsoft Office 365, especially Teams, PowerApps, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Good team player with Leadership skills.
Responsible For
- Inspect WRP and CCS Construction site;
- Reviews, reports and ensures completeness of contractor submittals;
- Maintains records of inspection work;
- Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer or the Project Manager;
- Collects data on field performance and reports it to higher management;
- Engage in collective activities initiated by the team members with the same level of position;
- Assisting Resident Engineer with technical support;
- Carry out daily inspections of all utility work and sign off the relevant part of the contractor’s RFI’s in a timely manner
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in an extended hours up to 12 hours a day;

Educational Requirements
- Minimum degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy civil/quality control construction field
