The Health and Safety Site Inspector who works under the direct supervision of the Resident Engineer, Health and Safety Managers, and indirect supervision of the Project Manager in PMC Mongolia. (Option 1 and 2)

Specific Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors with adequate technical knowledge with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English necessary to complete the job;
- Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, the internet and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations;
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability;
- Good team player.
Responsible For
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project policies and applicable regulations;
- Promote safety awareness in work practices;
- Assist in the development and implementation of Health and Safety procedures, policies, and guidelines;
- Conduct Health and Safety training in all levels;
- Engage in collective activities initiated by the team members with the same level of position;
- Assisting Resident Engineer with a technical support;
- provide advice, information and instruction on local OHS issues;
- Conduct a daily safety Talk;
- Conduct a daily routine site check;
- Prepare a weekly/ monthly safety report;
- Monitor and report the performance of the contractor(s).in OHS aspects;
- Assist in the application of HSE procedures;
- help manage risks and hazards in their area;
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures;
- Liaise with the OHS manager;
- Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data;
- Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for his premises;
- Monitor and report any breach of legislation and laws;
- Audit local area OHS compliance with regard to risk, emergency and hazardous;
- Help promote OHS awareness.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work extended hours up to 12 hours a day.

Educational Requirements
- Certified Safety Professional preferred;
- At least 4 years of experience as a Safety Inspector or similar role;
- Detailed knowledge of ISO 45001;
- Knowledge of H&S regulations, laws;
- Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices;
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and procedures;
- Understand that “Safety is an important element of marketing.”
- Familiar with the law and regulations regarding health and safety.
