Overview
The Land Surveyor will work under the direct supervision of the Resident Engineer and Project Managers and the Indirect supervision of the Program Manager in PMC Mongolia. (Option 1 and 2)

Specific Skills
- Experienced with photogrammetry software for processing UAV data (Metashape, Pix4D);
- Proficient with professional software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Metashape and relevant GIS software, etc.;
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, client, vendors, and contractors with adequate technical knowledge with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English necessary to complete the job;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skill levels in Microsoft Office 365, especially Teams, PowerApps, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Be familiar with common international design and building codes and standards;
- Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good team player with Leadership skills.
Responsible For
- Conducting construction and engineering surveys on various properties. Using the required surveying equipment;
- Calculating the measurements of the site;
- Verifying the calculations and analyzing the data;
- Maintaining the surveying equipment in good condition;
- Preparing the reports on survey results;
- Presenting the data to clients;
- Advising on technical aspects;
- Collaborating with the team members;
- Guiding the new employees as and when required;
- Establishing a control network and permanent benchmark;
- Moving and recording survey marks;
- Recording results of surveys;
- Reviewing and verifying contractors’ surveys;
- Research legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries;
- Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy;
- Analyze related technical issues and develop solutions to resolve them;
- Gather and assess project requirements;
- Ensure that the final product meets specification and compliance requirements;
- Support the PMC team and Contractors to clarify related technical issues and provide a response to the Contractor’s RFCs;
- Support the PMC team by providing input to respond to the Contractor’s claim as applicable;
- Be proactive, motivated, and able to learn new engineering methodologies quickly;
- Be able to work and interact effectively with a multicultural team;
- Developing reports and documentation as needed.

Educational Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy and Surveying;
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a Surveying role including construction surveying, engineering surveying, and earthwork measurement;
